Dr. Ruby L. Owiny

Dr. Ruby L. Owiny is an Associate Professor of Special Education at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has experience teaching general education at the elementary level and special education experience K-12. Her research interests revolve around inclusive practices including Universal Design for Learning, high-leverage practices, evidence-based practices, and instructional and behavioral interventions for students with mild disabilities. In her free time, Dr. Owiny enjoys reading, scrapbooking, hiking, cycling, and generally being in nature, especially with her pup.
